Broker Matt McAleney, a 6th generation Greater Portland resident, grew up working on the Portland waterfront in his family’s lobster company. In 2012, he started his real estate career at the Maine Real Estate Network as a buyer and open house specialist with one of Maine's more successful real estate teams. At the start of 2018 he ventured out on his own, representing both buyers and sellers. Matt uses humor and a superior local knowledge to help his clients in all of their real estate needs.
A graduate of South Portland High School (class of 1992) and Roger Williams University in Bristol Rhode Island (class of 1996), Matt lives in South Portland with his 2 daughters and rescue dog Toby "Corona".
When not showing houses and serving his clients' needs, Matt can be found on the ocean or volunteering in the community. Matt is an active member of Rotary and a current member of its Board of Directors.

1. There are two primary heat sources. The original is a forced hot water baseboard system off the propane furnace.
2. The second is heat pumps directly vented on the first floor with in room units on the second floor. All are thermostatically operated with three zones on the first floor.
3. Radiant heat was added to the master bath by adding a dedicated forced hot water zone to the furnace.
